Australia’s leading marathon is back! The Gold Coast Marathon invites participants from all over the world to take part in a number of exciting running events, taking place on one of Queensland’s most scenic destinations. Invite your friends and family and join over 25,000 participants of all ages and abilities from more than 50 countries all over the world! The Gold Coast Marathon will be celebrating its 40th event this 2018, and will once again host a number of world-class running events that all fitness levels and ages can be a part of. The eight running events taking place this year include the Gold Coast Marathon, Wheelchair Marathon, ASICS Half Marathon, Wheelchair 15km, Southern Cross University 10km Run, Gold Coast Airport Fun Run, Zespri 4km Junior Dash, and the Zespri 2km Junior Dash.
The Gold Coast Marathon’s flat and scenic course takes place alongside the city’s famous beaches and offers ideal running conditions with low humidity, little wind, and mild winter temperatures; resulting in the perfect running experience and better running times!
